BLOOD/LUST

Music and Lyrics by Caleb Damschroder
B ook by kevin wanzor

Loyalty runs thicker than blood.

It's the fall of 1880 and no place is more dangerous than the Tug Fork Valley on the Kentucky/West Virginia line. The Civil War might have ended, but here, a grudge lasts a lifetime and blood loyalty runs deeper than the valley itself.

Roseanna McCoy meets Johnse Hatfield, and together they turn the world upside down as their passion for each other sparks another war, forcing everyone involved to question and redefine what loyalty means to them.

Blood/Lust was developed at Cap21 in NYC and was part of the PiTCH New Works series at the The Rev Theatre Company in the Finger Lakes.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Once the bandages are removed, they discover that success is in the eye of the beholder, and learning to see comes with unexpected consequences.

Molly Sweeney headlined the new works festivals at both The Human Race Theatre in Dayton, OH and the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, NY.
